There is no longer any supposing about it. Glaciers are melting, the CO2 levels are the highest in 400,000 years, the Earth is heating up, and all of that correlates very well with our use of fossil fuels. The vast majority of scientists are in agreement. The Bush administration's response is to delete that from their own EPA report, and continue searching for a scientist who is willing to tell them what they want to hear. Sounds a lot like their input on WMD.

This time try to be objective and look at the data that Gore presents, and tell me where he is wrong. moveon.org

That the layman doesn't understand global warming is hardly reason to doubt it is happening. Climatologists around the world largely agree on everything except some of the detailed mechanisms and models.... It amazes me that 90-95% of the people are willing to accept belief in a supernatural being without any understanding at all, but balk at sound data gathered by gualified scientists....
