A later post revealed that they likely don't mean Raging Bull.

It's a logical next step, though. Although I don't see why they'd keep one kind of community and not the others.

I'm sure quite a few people are thinking RB's got at least one foot in the grave, though. iHub has smashed its previous daily new members record for the year and it's still pretty early.

If RB drops out of the race, it'll be a boon for SI and iHub as businesses. Fewer high-traffic competitors for the typically high-paying finance-related advertising. More subscribers.

I'm not sure either site can handle much of a deluge right now, although if we ever sort out iHub's problem with ASP suddenly crashing, it would be able to handle at least double its current volume, and we should have our load balancer installed this weekend and be ready to fairly quickly add new webservers as they're needed.
