that reminds me a conversation on intel thread where bunch of investors few years back started a theory that Intel is above normal tech cycles. A few years later I just had to post "I told you so" follow up <g>

Anyways, yes, other major currencies gained against $ but that does not establish a pattern yet. The weakness of the $ was rather expected after 911 and follow up measures that were not particularly liked outside of US.
