>>dollar helping to hit T-bond today

I could never understand why this happens, but it happens all the time.
Any light on the issue?

>>dollar helping to hit T-bond today<<

got it backwards --

They buy treasuries to prop dollar -- short covering on the buck ensues -- they quit buying and the treasuries drop -- today probably aided by the options expiry.

but that's been the pattern since the top in the dollar.
