IMO the Euro is way overvalued. The movement of gold due to the Euro is a short term phenomena. The real movement comes when we get into competitive devaluations and inflation. That is only a protectionist democrat away.

For the price of gold - pray for John Kerry and the dems. The one thing that might really stagnate gold is a split between the executive and legislative branches. Big spending would come to a screaming halt.

Gold would not do well in gridlock - IMO! Ben Laden would throw a party and Sadam would dream of freedom!
