Ted, You make that sound like its a dirty thing. I am surprised at your viewpoint. I think it's fine that he wants to make war a much less desirable option. But I don't think it's fine to reinstate the draft for these ends alone. A draft should only be used when the country is indeed in dire danger and we need to call up as many troops as possible. It shouldn't be used to advance an anti-war agenda or to institute a system of "shared sacrifice" that takes away personal choice. Tenchusatsu
