Looks as though a family squabble might materialize in GOP:

They are always there, Ann. And they grow as the Republicans become the dominant party. First one is the spend/don't spend split. This really breaks along the lines of the people in Washington, who have to keep their voters happy, and the ideologues in the Think tanks, who want them to cut.

The other big split is the Social Conservative/Eagle one. It usually has the "My Pastor says" bunch on one side, and the Libertarians like me on the other.

But I would rather put up with that than have the Democratic ones.
