True, but if the Congress can't bring itself to vote on the subject (advise and consent), then they are not fulfilling their constitutional duty.


That makes no sense.......the filibuster is a legitimate practice used in the Senate...........the GOP has used it just as frequently as the Dems.

Face it. They are screwing the system and you know it. The Constitution does not provide for a super-majority, and at the same time it requires them to provide some kind of answer.

The current batch from the GOP are some of the most ruthless office holders I have ever seen........T. Delay quickly comes to mind. If you think they have not done whatever can be done to stop the filibuster, you're more brainwashed than I thought. There is a reason why the GOP is letting this go on and its not because the GOP is made up of gentle men and women. Think about it!

BTW do you think Edwards will carry SC in its primary?
