Thanks, one of the advantages of getting old is that the article seemed new, even though I know, or think I know, I read it before. <g>

Actully upon re-reading things i do find they may contain addition information I either glossed over the first time or because of acquiring new interest meant more to when read the second or third time.

As an aside I have never understood or believed that companies buy out others just to remain #1. Sure there may be exceptions, in some industries where being #1 can serve as a sign of company satisfaction.

I believe the mergers occcur for more logical reasons, or at least the more logical reasons serve as an iron clad excuse for management so they can demonstrate they did not act on emotional things, like being #1. <g>
