One still has to ask: Why was it that only the Iraqi Oil Ministry building was protected once the Americans gained control of the country? All other government buildings, including the museums were ransacked and looted--but not the Iraqi Oil Ministry building. Don't you find this a bit odd?

Oil is the life blood of IRAQ. Their greatest asset. Would it have been smart to allow the Oil Ministry to have been destroyed? It is the greatest hope of the Iraqi people. I suppose you could have paid corporations like HAL even more to bring it back on line.

What would have been the purpose to destroy the OIL infrastructure? The iference you wish people to draw is we want the oil. However, the reality, as usual, is quite different. The US did not have the intent to destry IRAQ.
