<Of course some of us believe that a vegetarian diet is an unnatural and unhealthy diet >
Is it unnatural? that's news to me. I once read in a book by an MD, a 'solid/scientific' reason why humans should be/are vegetarians. He looked at the jaw structure of carnivores and herbivores, the carnivores had a whole lot of sharp incisors, like a dogs teeth if you will. Humans have quite a few flat molars to grind / masticate the veggies.
Plus, our closest ancestors, monkeys and gorillas all live on fruits and veggies.
Too many of us have been sold on the hunter gatherer myth of our past. Just because a few europeans lived that way in cold climes for a few (hundred/thousand does n't matter) years, does not mean humans as a race are meant to be carnivorous.
And BTW, where does the protein rich cow gets its protein from? Basically America grows a huge amount of cereals, which have to find a home, enter the cow/pig etc. Then you go about manufacturing reasons why this is the way it is meant to be.

What is the connection between vegetarianism and pro-creation?

Are you saying that vegetarians are virile lovers?
