Indeed, he did announce he wanted out about three months ago. But what is surprising is his statement that he didn't believe Iraq built or tried to build any stockpiles of WMD throughout the 90s.

I recall Kay's pre-war comments. He was fairly convinced those weapons were there. He was interviewed several times on MSNBC, CNN, FOX, etc. He'd usually be followed by a general or some other high-ranking retired officer that would always cement the WMD concept as very real.

I really do wonder when the topdogs of America's media were approached about reporter embedding and whether this had any kind of a role for the pre-war support the media gave the Administration for this wrongful war.
