Jay, the CDMA Divine Wind will waft around the world and blow away the smoggy mess you breathe in Hong Kong and Beijing.

You must have noticed during your brief time at Auckland airport how clear the air, how blue the sky, how white and fluffy the clouds, how sharp the sun, how shiny the leaves, how clean the water. Though I suppose the transit lounge limited your perspective, so maybe you missed it.

I was stuck inside the Hong Kong airport terminal for a few hours, but peering out at the surroundings, I could see only a dim sun, dirty air, murky sea, no leaves, a polluted planet. However, when flying out at night, I was impressed when peering out the window to see a most magical sprinkling of jewels shining up from the city. It was like looking into Aladdin's Cave. It was beautiful, like gold, silver, platinum, rubies, diamonds, pearls and amethyst festooned across a city-sized Xmas tree. The city is so tall, it was three dimensional. A surrealistic scene as different from a night trip in a taxi in wet conditions from Mumbai airport to Victoria train station via the slums as I can imagine. It seems absurd that these places exist contemporaneously on the same planet. Waitakere Golf Course, Mumbai slums, Hong Kong from the sky at night. How different life can be. Bora Bora by day.
