You're right that American people dislike mud-slingling; however, far right is really adept at disguising it for voters' eyes.

As far as Mrs. Kerry's French accent, I agree that the press showed a dinosaur-like attitude towards Mrs. Dean; however, our First Lady is one of our most prominent national symbols(like the W.H., Statue of Liberty) and I doubt that voters are ready for that type of globalization. In fact, many of us are entirely disenchanted with the effects of world-wide melding on USA.
