I disagree. In addition to islam being an organized billion and a half strong religion it is also a form of government in pretty well all muslim controlled countires.

IMO in most countries the failure of economic, educational, infrastructure etc.etc is usually found to be the failure of the government within those countries...It appears to me that islam is the form of government in most of these backwards countries and therefore should be held responsible for failures. Just like you and others blame the Bush administration for economic failures of the last few years.

islam should not be treated any different that any other government just because they are a religious group...If they are wrong then except responsibility instead of blaming the rest of the world and get on with the necessary changes needed.
