Hi mike,

The Peoples Republic of Massachusetts has been electing Republican governors for the last 10 years and more, it's not that liberal. Kerry had more wiggle room to the center than he chose to use.

I read that Brooks column on Kerry. I like the idea Kerry much better than the politician Kerry. Anyone who gets compared to Moynihan gets points with me. Hard to tell which Kerry would turn up in the Oval Office. Glass half full/glass half empty.
