California real estate is an "investment" just like
the Nasdaq was an "investment" in 2000!

I haven't found any limitations on my salary or
my professional opportunities living in Texas.
If you are very good at what you do, you
can live anywhere. Maybe your skills simply
aren't as good as mine...

And, I can assure you that I'm not "fat"...
In fact, I'm off to spend the rest of the day
enjoying the great 70 degree weather...

As for Texas being "ugly", well I don't remember
seeing any scenery outside my office like this
when I was working in "beautiful" Silicon Valley:
