Kennedy's disgust at the SotU won him some national fans if you read the congress.org website.

Face it, a lot of the country has disgust for Bush and the republicans ushered in this "lack of respect for office" claptrap when they embarked on the impeachment in 98. I think Kennedy should have thrown tomatoes at Bush.
