Too much cross posting is spamming- at least on SI. I remember when some folks posted about a place where you could send money for breast cancer with just a click of the mouse- I thought, for spam, that was pretty worthwhile spam- but it still wasn't allowed on SI. So even if you had the Fountain of truth, you couldn't cross post it on SI. Remember that when you find it, Mr. Ponce (oh wait, that was the fountain of youth).
