If they lose the opportunity to run against Dean-a candidate who beats HIMSELF while you just stand by and watch-they get either a slimy ambulance-chaser, or a slimy Senator who made his bones stabbing America in the back on Vietnam.

The down side of 2004 is if Weasel Wesley Clark stays alive long enough for the public to notice. This could set back the public's respect for military officers to pre-Civil War levels.

I can hear the cries now, "What is WRONG with our defense system that a bovine-eyed MORON like this can become a GENERAL?"

It could get ugly. Clark is the $1,200 toilet seat of military "leaders"...
