RR...I've been doing a bit of swing or daytrading of options again--small amounts but doing well & having fun, and I've been discussing w/ Teresa my methods... :)

She makes a good point that if I want to buy options out 3-6 months it is because I am giving my trade room, and if I'm giving it room then I am giving it rope to hang myself. Any thoughts about that? I know you often buy ITM 3-6 months out. I feel "safer" further out but what is really safer?
