That type of thinking is almost beyond my comprehension. To me, it's important to know the issues that are important to me & what politicians, media outlets have to say on the matters, plus & my own research. I'll form my own POV from there. However, as time & events unfold, I am willing to adjust my POV when it is appropriate. If the facts & reality of time & events are at odds with my original POV, I change my POV rather than fight facts & reality. And I do not owe my allegiance to any political party. I want politicians to represent my POV, not the other way around. I want my politicians to place my security & national security first. There's no excuse for partisan politics to trump national security ever. FWIW, nothing turns me off faster than an unrepentant liar for all the obvious reasons.
