Well, if the media would just get out of the way and report NOT MAKE UP the news Dean might have a fighting chance to make a horse race out of this. Right now though the Media does appear to have adopted Kerry and Edwards as their new sweethearts. jdn

Iowa can never be predicted because caucuses are DIFFERENT from elections.

New Hampshire, simply, cannot be predicted.

And only occasionally-when there's a real race-does the eventual nominee win New Hampshire. Add all that media hot light to any tiny area of the country, and it alters their behavior. Then, taking polls just increases the chaos...

If Dean closes and becomes a threat in New Hampshire, I'm still looking for the Democrat "establishment" to "turn out" about 500,000 black "New Hampshireites" to vote for Kerry, Edwards, or Sharpton.

Anything to bury the "Red Dean"...
