Ruff, I responded to this by "If the Arab states hadn't invaded Israel with the intention of destroying it, there would have been no war and no refugees."

Stop saying I'm defending Hamas and jumping around. I post when you and Bumar casually state something as fact and start building from there.

So you guys stay "somewhat close to current history".

Read the LA Times today for an interesting article by Benny Morris, professor of Middle Eastern History at Ben Gurion University in Tel Aviv.

"On July 12, 1948 Israeli soldiers .... were ordered yto empty 2 towns of their Arab residents. Over 2 days , between 50,000 and 60,000 inhabitants were driven from their homes. Many were forced to walk eastward to the Arab Legion lines.....The expulsions , conducted under orders from then Lt. Col. Yitzhak Rabin, were an element of the partial ethnic cleansing that rid Israel of the majority of its Arab inhabitants at the very moment of its birth."

Just admit that's what happened ruff. The Israeli government does to it's own citizens, Deskowitz does to justify it and minimize reparations. Only Israeli propagandists and sweet jewish boys repeating stories from their bubba keep saying otherwise.

"You pinpoint only Israeli extremists and why does that surprise me?"

You seem to have a real problem with your own actions. Who keeps telling us over and over that Arafat stole billions and billions and has it in Swiss bank accounts. Well, I never mention ed Sharon's taking of bribes, but how come you never mentioned it? Your statement implies that you are fairly reporting the "news". Howcome you only pinpoint Israeli extremists and why does that surprise me?
Again, I post only when you and Bomar rewrite history.

Before we can have a meaningful peace, we must acknowledge that there were things happening on BOTH sides in '47/48; not the sweet story you try to portray, that all the new Israelis were doing were dancing the hora by the firside when 300 billion well armed Arabs attacked and the 15 brave Israelis fought them off and then offered to live in peace with 2 states.

Start from premis that Ben Gurion and crew were pissed off that UN did not give them more land. That inhabitants of the land were not happy with what was happening (would you be). That there were behind the scenes movements at UN unlinking the creation of the jewish state and the arab state. That there was a well thought out plan to remove Arabs in order to be able to establish a viable jewish state.

Stop saying things which imply this crap and I won't post and you won't have to make all those personal attacks which you love to do. Or posting you're simple-minded puns (stammerer). At least I don't hide behind a name like rruff. Is that your propaganda code name? I wonder if Goebels had plants throughout the world writing letters to the editor in their code names since they didn't have an internet to post on.
