Think about the moral arithmetic. 3 dead Jews are worth 400 live Arabs.

I take your point regarding the symbolism. But when I do the math, I think of all the live Jews who can be hurt by the 400 released Arabs. You can't leave potential future dead Jews out of the equation.

I'm amazed the Palistinians don't find the deal too insulting to buy.


They never have in the past. But it's a big mistake to make hostage Jews so valuable, as many others have pointed out.
