Kirk,

I don't think a potential NVLS/LRCX merger drove the price of LRCX up or down. LRCX went up more than the others and now it is more volatile the other way. I think earnings season has moved the market away from wishful thinking and toward analysis of real results. LRCX is doing well, but so are the others.

I think I have to agree with Cary on this one. Lam is getting hit but so are many others(ASYT down 5%+). Lam had the largest run, so I think it only natural it takes the largest fall during a breather.
