Yes, let's all assume too many innocents have fallen due to the American invasion. But now that Saddam is gone, why doesn't the US turn over the situation to the UN, especially the oil and rebuilding contracts? Not to do so, only obscures any good intent the Bush Administration is attempting to claim it had for its invasion.

I am prepared to pay a high price, if necessary, to ultimately guarantee our national security.....just as we have always been prepared to sacrifice in this country...just as I and my father and his father and all in my family back to our service in the Civil War have been willing to sacrifice.
