Edwards could be Hillary's worst nightmare in terms of her presidential ambitions. The Clintons could suddenly begin supporting Edwards now, with Hillary as VP. This, in the theory that eight years of Kerry-Edwards and then eight years of Edwards--???? doesn't leave any room for Hillary.

However, eight years of Edwards-Clinton would pave the way eight years from now for Clinton--????.
