The Bush administration knew there were no WMDs.

It was widely held that Iraq still had WMDs and they did still have the capability to produce them. Your opinion that Bush knew there was no more active WMD in Iraq is not sufficiently supported by hard evidence to call the contrary view merde.

There was inconclusive evidence that Saddam had WMDs. NO ONE could say for sure one way or the other. Logic would then suggest that an attempt must be made to find out. That's why the weapon inspectors were sent into Iraq.

Yet, Bush refused to let them finish their job. Assuming that Bush wanted to attack Iraq and we now have evidence that he did even prior to 9/11, one must therefore assume he knew that the weapon inspectors would not find any WMDs, making war unnecessary. He had no choice then but to start a pre emptive war prior to completion of the work by the inspectors.

The truth and evidence is there......just open your eyes!
