Again, you are not focussing.....Even assuming that Saddam "imploded", the prospect of civil war and the partitioning of the country was great, which threatened to draw in Turkey, Iran, and other countries into the struggle. There is greater stability in Iraq due to our presence. As for the Arab world, who knows, after all? Qaddafi is making deals with us, Saudi Arabia is promising reforms, and Iranian moderates are demonstrating against hardliners' attempts to purge the electoral rolls of moderates........
