NC,
A potential winning strategy for dems and indys who feel (either or both) that implementation of post war policy is bad or that there was a rush to war and an exaggeration of the threat. It sort of pulls the rug out of the inane dean and the insane clark(or is it insane dean and inane clark?) more toward a lieberman view or perhaps and evolving kerry view. It certainly defines ground where Hillary might stand if this deadlocks or in 2008 if bush wins. Mike

"You know, everybody makes mistakes when they are president," he said. "I mean, you can't make as many calls as you have to without messing up once in a while. The thing we ought to be focused on is what is the right thing to do now."

"We should be pulling for America on this. We should be pulling for the people of Iraq."

Clinton is throwing Bush an exit strategy. Just say you made a mistake and want to fix it. The American People (Democrats) will support you and you have to let us help you fix it.
