Actually, if I can't help accomplish the collective goal of elevating humanity to the postbellum evolutionary phase, I have no desire for my family and I to survive into the Mad Max future. In my opinion, if that happens, humanity failed as a species and has no business surviving any more than 24" inch long dragonflies of the Silurian did.
