Hi Sam; I think the article goes on and on about a subject of little importance. It really doesn't matter what it is that motivates the Iraqis to shoot at us. They have so many reasons that it is completely impossible for us to win hearts and minds through kind actions. Latest rumor is that our soldiers have been asked to quit giving candy to children and to give a meaner look to the Iraqis, in the misguided hope that this will scare the Iraqis into compliance, LOL.

Given that the Iraqis are going to keep shooting at us no matter what we do, it really doesn't matter very much who or what is organizing the Iraqis except to the extent that they will have an influence on the Iraqi government that succeeds the inevitable civil war.

Hey, Iraq is just not very important to us. When the Iraqi civil war starts up, we'll just have to wait until it ends. When it does end, we'll just have to deal with the successor government, possibly from a position of friendliness, but more likely from a position similar to how we treated Iran's Islamic Revolutionary government.
