I'm cramped up with laughter. Hey, could you loan me a couple of bucks? Just till I get back on my feet.

Tut, tut my boy. You don't want a loan. It should be a grant, with no obligation to repay.

Actually, it's not called communism, it's called a healthy capitalistic society with fair income tax grades according to what you can afford, closing loopholes to evade taxes, and to try and keep the gulf between rich and poor not as big as the Grand Canyon, the way it is in third world countries. The rich need to pay more. They did just fine under Clinton and so did everyone else. Things got paid for. With the Bush tax cut scheme, the rich get off, the corporate interests get welfare and the middleclass and poor eat cake, crumbs or just get forgotten. Also the environment gets filthied and raped. Not very Christian.

Sorry, the BushCo corporate pork schedule for 04 is already filled. You may be able to tack your request on to either the 190 billion corporate farm subsidy bill, or the 400 billion social security drug subsidy with no cost controls bill, because these two corporate pork programs are so flush with cash they are looking for recipients!

Oh wait- you are an individual member of the "truly poor" are you? A guy who paid taxes for most of his life but has never donated anything meaningful to the Bush campaign? Well, you are SOL then. And BTW, you know that social security thing you have paid into all your life- its broke!!!!

We're sorry, courtesy of BushCo.

No hope for a loan. She is giving all her dough to "poor" John Kerry. :-)
