yeah well guess what? Your friend Teddy Kennedy is experiencing a sort of renaissance and a dramatic increase in his national popularity thanks to his open objections to Bush policies and his obvious disgust of the CiC.

NPR had a story the day after the SotU "on the media" where the ABC producer was accused of focusing on disinterested parties while Bush was talking. Rangle sleeping and of course Kennedy's expressions, etc. The TV guy said there was no way they could stage any reactions to the speech because it was real time and unedited. I think all the listeners know the truth, nobody respects Bush in washington and whenever this perception becomes evident right wingers accuse the lefties of "lack of respect for office" - conventently forgetting that they impeached Clinton for lying about sex.

Anyway good old Teddy, I say give him all the national media he wants!!
