If only this were true.

Reagan presided over a booming economy and exploding debt. Clinton presided over a booming economy and dwindling deficits. Now Bush is back to the extreme fiscal irresponsibility of Reagan. We had a short, shallow recession which has been over for years yet the deficits and debt just keep growing.

If he were a CEO he'd be fired for losing money during an economic expansion.
