About 75% of business owners are Republican. The refusal of Bush Adm to bring charges against business owners who break the illegal law is best example why those companies favor Repub party. Multi-national corps in particular lean toward Repubs because they consider it "interference" if government sets standards of decency both in wages & working environment. The improvements in both of those areas took American workers a couple centuries to achieve & were fought tooth & nail along the way by those whose most devout religion is as Capitalist Fundamentalists(Republicans). Today's sell-out of U.S. workers by so many American cos that crave slave wages in China & India prove the fallacy of the Capitalist Fundamentalist philosophy. That does not mean Socialism is the answer--rather the best system is a combination of the most valuable features of both those extremes. It does not allow abuse of either the workers or the employers. Both groups work for the benefit of all--not just the business owner.
