Good grief -- this is how the US was led to swallow a ton of bullshit about wmd in the first place. Give me a break. That, combined with Saddam's proven track record of not only building, but USING WMDs, and his giving up $200 billion in oil revenues to remain non-compliant with the UN. When there is a police state, either you have a spy in high places (something you do NOT want to announce), or you rely on exiles and dissidents for info. We do know that caravans of trucks went from Iraq to Syria a year ago, because we directly observed it. We just don't know the exact contents of the trucks.
