The productivity gains that we are witnessing are the direct effect of investments made during the 1990s when Clinton was President. Just attended a meeting with a HArvard professor of econ who btw is a democrat and was simply providing the facts. Bush inherited the recession and workers were eliminated because of the recession and gains in productivity via automation. A serious culprit in this push is health care costs for employees. That is not Clinton's nor Bush's fault, but it has moved employers to continue to push for additional productivity through investing in new equipment. Now that they have been replaced, they need to learn new skills. The question I have for you is, since there is not a need for workers becuase of the automation, how is a guy in Washington going to convincew me to hire additional unneeded workers?
And why would I do that?

Do you understand how this works, at all?

Please do not stray away from the points here.

Lets hold this loser administration to their pathetic promises, shall we?
