the rich perfected it over the last 200 years to a level that they can't be toppled, Jay. They've learned their lessons. That's why I think they will manage this and in the process they'll get even richer. The US has a large middle class from which they can take money sending them down the strata as noveaux poor. It is how to manage this process that it is the problem. But you can see it how it is being tackled: make them fear even what it doesn't exist and they walk the line.
