I don't think they have much of a choice but to put up with it. The average guy is just not philosophical enough to see the forces underlying the circumstances around him. He flows with the crowd and never gains much understanding. That is why good leadership is vital. Muslims have been cursed with atrocious leadership for centuries. And now this people, full of potential, suffer. We see the same thing with blacks right here at home. They won't exactly look squarely to American leaders (and somewhat understandably, given their history). But their own leaders have been stupendously ridiculous. And so this potentially great people languish in stupidity. Hopefully, things are changing with them. I think they are. But I do not see great change for muslims anytime soon - not without a lot of pain.
