Not exactly dispensationalist, but certainly have no need to argue too vigorously against dispensationalists. "Left Behind" ought to be left behind. Not only is it bad writing, but it is eschatologically flawed, in my opinion. It is not theology in which you are dealing here. It is eschatology. My eschatology is influenced by a variety of sources, the foremost of which is the Holy Scriptures. and somehow i knew you would say that... and no the test is not ridiculous simply because you wish it were so... It is a ridiculous test precisely for the reason I said it was ridiculous. God may choose to aid Israel by a variety of means, none of of which are patently supernatural.
