I have not spent much time thinking about that. It is a very interesting concept. It would eventually make government more responsible because of the more personal payment from each individual... It would be in the interest of the taxpayer and voter...so why would it be fought against. The efficiency aspect cannot be argued. Hell, the government grows because of it and promotes waste... The ability to take all this money revolves around people's ignorance, apathy and inertia. Remove those and our government would have to function as if it were a market based entity competing for consumer dollars. First step is elimination of withholding tax.
