AVII Is down about 1.33% with volume now ahead of its daily average, in spite of announcing today that institutional investors had exercised warrants for the purchase of more than 1.623M shares of its common $4.62 and the company had gross proceeds of $7.5M The investors will receive new five-year warrants to purchase 389.611K shares at $5.50 <g> Yesterday it presented positive results on the inhibition of the SARS coronavirus using its NEUGENE antisense drugs at the Keystone Symposium on Bioterrorism in the workshop on SARS. And also presented this week at the Midwinter Conference of Immunologists, a novel approach to specific immunotherapy by clonally deleting activated lymphocytes responding to transplanted tissue. NEUGENE was able to eliminate the responding immune cells and allow the acceptance of the transplant.
