yes, I would rather have anybody but Bush. Anybody. I don't think the Bush crowd BK'd the treasury deliberately actually. I think they just don't understand global politics and economics. Why would they, they are a bunch of cronies from the 70s. They don't understand who really pays the most taxes in this country... workers do... specifically folks making about 90K, they pay 40% of their income in SS and federal/state taxes. You gut that group, there goes your cash cow. Bush's own policies destroyed the budget, but he isn't smart enough to figure out why, for the same reason people on the right wing threads (and Bush staffers) thought Bush was a shoo-in in 04, and that we would get 300K jobs in December.
