Kerry has been attacked before ad nauseum and is ready for anything. He went through the most grueling campaign in state history against William Weld, came from behind and won. They threw everything at him but the kitchen sink but nothing stuck. My friend was Weld's treasurer and admitted Kerry was very tough to run against because he is immune to so many types of attacks. He takes no special interest money, he was a Silver Star winner, he was a tough prosecutor and he has no real skeletons in his closet. He is basically a very honest heroic man. Therefore, the Bushies will lose if they try and throw Jane Fonda, Ted Kennedy and his ex-wife's mental problems at him. And that's all they have besides his voting record which isn't perfect but stands up to scrutiny.

Debating is one of Kerry's strong skills right from his college days. Interesting to see him debate Bush. Reminds us of the Kennedy-Nixon debates.
