And of course (sorry to keep pushing the analogy but it's apt) there were problems with overfarming in early agriculture, and with stupid government policies which occasionally laid the land waste. And there are dead zones everywhere, look at how the Sahara is creeping south, but overall agriculture predominated, and I expect fish farming will too. What concerns me is that we seem to be believing what we want to believe, despite evidence to the contrary, and to our eventual detriment.
