Alaska spends millions helping the private sector market OK then perhaps many billions and jobs to suit. Pollution clean up, scientific studies, whatever it takes. This will be more profitable in the longer run then sending stuff to Mars. Equally spectacular though, and will catch the populations (worlds populations) attention too. If the worlds population continues to increase, as it has, it's got to be a winner. Almost a guaranteed winner -ggg- The main market is in the other few trillion people on earth. OK there is only 6.3 billion of us so far. A very significant middle class will want the best things in life. Decent food sources are becoming more value added every day. We just have to read the news.
