so you think that government should regulate private industry? You know that then it would not exactly be private. Your father would not be better off staying at the car factory that could sell its cars

I, personally, do subscribe neither to protectionism nor free trade at all cost. Free trade should allow to exist when it is fair - in most of the cases that means free trade on both sides. Other than that I am against government control. Russian economy failed due to lack of incentive. Lack of incentive existed because of the government control.
