My point was I said the Scientists fooled Saddam and told him they had made him weapons, when they really had not.

you say:
by constantly claiming that the sanctions and international pressure were preventing them from achieving substantial results

The difference is that there were zero weapons and the scientists told him there were many.(He forgot about "trust but verify") Your version is that they were building some but they were late. (Late Scientists lost not only the project but their life.)

{I wonder if Chalabi was getting paid by both sides, telling both sides there are WMD.}

The article doesn't say anything about sanctions and international pressure.

If Bush would have known sanctions and international pressure worked then he would have not had to invade and occupy Iraq.

Oh, wait a minute. Bush does know about the success of sanctions and international pressure. Check his North Korea Policy.

Another thing BUsh learned is that it's a good idea to give "inspectors time to finish the job". Too bad Blix didn't get the same support.

Did you see the look on Bush today when he gave the "Glad Saddam's Gone" talking points?
